A simple, lightweight camera is recommended, as you will be visiting many different places on safari. A lightweight camera is easy to carry and can be put in your pocket for easy access. Bring plenty of extra film or load a digital camera with extra megabytes, so you will not run miss any great pictures during your trip.
Aside from a camera, you should bring a small first aid kit, sunglasses with ultraviolet protection, high-quality boots and walking shoes, a waterproof jacket, and a few sweaters.
