Support and resistance are relative terms that deal with prices of commodities and trends in investing. For instance, when the stock is in an up trend it is possible to use technical analysis in determining the price at which it will get support and likewise the price at which it will face resistance.
Typically, the support and resistance levels run parallel at an angle to meet a common end. Breakout, as well, occurs particularly when the price shoots above resistance level or drops from a support level. This now serves as a major indicator of when there is a need to make some changes in the price of commodities.
