A full-service broker provides a variety of different brokerage tasks, including advice on buying and selling products and real estate. He also gives advice and recommendations about financial planning and tax shelters. The commission of a full-service broker is higher than a discount broker's because a discount broker only deals with basic trading services and does not give advice and recommendations.
A full-service broker provides a wide range of services in the fields of trading, research, advertising, investment planning, and almost everything to do with their client's investments needs.
