A safari can last anywhere from a few days to a few months, or even longer. It depends on the contract you sign with your tour agency. But because of the exotic scenery on a safari, it is nice to stay two weeks to a month. One week can be too short for you to explore all the different places on a safari.
If you are planning a safari, you should go to a tour consultant and ask for assistance about how long can you stay. If you are planning to visit many places, a longer time will be needed, but if you're going to just one particular place you may need less time.
