Typically, the length of the treatment depends on the area of the skin that you are having treated. It can vary from a few minutes to hours. Do not be bothered by this, however, because you can immediately go back to your normal activities after the treatment, particularly if it does not produce any side effects.
It takes a bit longer if you are aiming for a permanent or long-lasting effect. You will have to attend three consecutive sessions or more. This is especially true if your skin tends to respond to the treatment slowly.
