In order to become a food critic, you are expected to know everything about food, from buying, preparation and cooking, to what should be served during the peak season as well as where foods usually grow.
For you to learn these fundamentals, you should take at least a certificate or a degree course such as culinary arts, Le Cordon Bleu, or catering in any of the cooking schools available worldwide. These courses center their teaching on the theory and practice of cooking, which will introduce you to different cuisine from all over the world.
