Like the number of days for putting up the Christmas decorations, some people count twelve days after Christmas to start taking down their decorations. Typically, this falls on the 6th day of January. Others put their decorations away on New Year's Day, and still others do it on Boxing Day, December 26th. Again, it depends on what you prefer.
