Multiplexing is an optical or electronic method that combines a large amount of low-speed communication lines into one high-speed transmission line. By means of splitting the entire amount of available bandwidth, the high-speed line turns into a divided frequency. Multiplexing also allots a common channel to some different transmitting procedures by time division.
