A microlight is a two-seat aircraft with an open cockpit that uses a weightshift system in order to fly. The undercarriage of the aircraft, which is known as the “trike,” pivots from the wing to allow the wing to fly on its own. Currently, microlights are the strongest and safest type of light aircraft.
