Giclée is the term used for inkjet prints of artworks. It is a procedure performed by the printer itself where tiny inkjets are used to print an image onto the surface of the paper. This requires particular printing specifications, including the printer type, ink composition, and special paper. The results can be anywhere from throwaway prints to fine reproductions.
