There are many reasons why some professional photographers use black-and-white film. They may use it for a particular subject because it is simpler and more artistic. Some say they prefer black-and-white film because it offers deep, dark blacks and crisp, clean whites. Black-and-white photos can also be used to tell a story without colors distracting the viewer.
