Can I leave things in desk and dresser drawers while they are being moved?

Things that you will not need while traveling, like clothes and jewelry, do not need to be taken out of the drawers or dressers.
The only thing you have to do is secure the drawers and other openings with tape, so they will not open during travel. You should, of course, also wrap any fragile items inside the drawers with newspapers or packing material, to avoid breakage.
