One way or another fibromyalgia may be related to insomnia because both have symptoms such as body inflexibility, urinary and gastro-intestinal problems, sleeplessness, stress, loss of appetite and headaches.
Most of the time insomnia and fibromyalgia have symptoms, such as sleeplessness, that are unpredictable. Although both are incurable, there are treatments available. Insomnia and fibromyalgia can be treated through the help of prescribed drugs such as anti-depressants and anti-inflammatory medications to help alleviate the symptoms.
