It is necessary to know when to call a doctor. Fibromyalgia is characterized by widespread musculoskeletal aches, pain and stiffness, soft tissue tenderness, general fatigue, and sleep disturbances.
Patients should not wait for severe symptoms before seeking a doctor’s attention. When the patient feels some of the symptoms, he or she should seek for doctor’s advice and care.
