Yes, it is important to have more than one backup so that you can still recover data if the first backup fails. This will happen if you have forgotten the key to your first backup which will enable you to retrieve the files and data. If you have another backup location, you can just refer to it. If you have made use of an online backup service, you still need to keep a personal copy by copying it onto a CD.
