It is important that kids with ADHD be given special attention and training in school; thus it may be recommended by a psychologist to enroll your child in a special class at school. Such classes offer specialized training and educational activities for ADHD students. But, depending on the behavior and the manifestations of the disorder, a parent may still allow his/her child to be part of the regular class. The teacher would assess the child's strengths and capabilities, as well as his/her weaknesses and would develop an Individualized Educational Program.
