The answer is no. A person cannot become addicted although he/she takes anti-depressant medications for months or years. Persons who take insulin and high blood pressure tablets are not addicted; neither are the persons who take antidepressants.
A person who does not experience any type of depression will not feel results if he took an antidepressant. They work on the part of the brain that gets out of stability and results in depression.
