Based on the findings of Dr. Barefoot, coral calcium is immediately ionized. This is because it contains a positive charge. Once it enters the body, it is quickly attracted to the negative charge in the walls of the intestine, where the absorption of food takes place.
Since the particles that are present in coral calcium are said to be 1000 times smaller than most ordinary calcium, it takes only about 15 minutes for the coral calcium to be absorbed into the bloodstream. This is in contrast to the average of 20 hours it takes for other types of calcium to be absorbed.
