Who's a stranger? It refers to any person who seems unfamiliar to your child. Teach your child that anyone whom he does not know is a stranger. If you have to explain what that means, tell him to ask himself: Do I know this person's name? Do I know where this person lives? If not, the person is a stranger, even if he seems nice and safe. Some children think "strangers" have to look "strange."
Explain to your child that adults can cause him harm, even if they look respectable. Accepting anything from a stranger is also prohibited.
