Your child should be taught about home safety in order to prevent possible accidents. Here are some of the things that you can teach your child:
- In case of fire, tell your child to keep calm and seek an adult's help immediately.
- Teach him not to play with matches or lighters or other types of fire-starters.
- Remind your child that he should never invite any stranger into the house, even if the stranger looks "nice."
- Teach him to stay away from balconies and open windows.
