You can feed your cat high quality food if you have the money to pay for it. High quality cat foods are rather expensive. However, higher quality food often promotes better health in a cat because these foods often use whole vegetables and fruits and brown rice or barley, which are good sources of carbohydrates, as well as real meat, which is protein enriched. They also have additional minerals and vitamins added.
