There are many binoculars on the market that work well in low light. The military uses binoculars that have good night vision. Night vision helps a person see even with low light or at night. There are certain binocular makers that have features which allow a person to see with clear view in a foggy place.
You will need a large objective lens size (aperture) for low light viewing with regular binoculars. A stray light prevention system along with high definition lenses will result in incredible brightness in low light. But if you want to see in the dark, you will need real night vision binoculars.
