SCSI terminators are devices that are attached to the end points of a bus network or a daisy chain. This device absorbs signals to avoid letting the signal reflect back down the line. This will make the transmitting and receiving of data faster and more reliable, because it will prevent a lot of data traffic on the network with people sharing computers. Terminators are required at both ends of the bus in an Ethernet network. However in SCSI chains, it only requires a single terminator at the end of the chain.
