If you have two computers and you want to connect them through network adapters, Ethernet crossover cables can do the job for you. Ethernet crossover cables are very much like a regular Ethernet UTP cable, but crossover cable wiring is different. Since there are no hubs or routers, the wiring in a crossover cable is like swapping transmit and receive signals in order for both computers to share files.
