Age and eyesight are not necessarily considerations in choosing binoculars. Remember that binoculars are not aides to correct eye defects. but instruments to help magnify distant things. Eyeglasses can be used while looking through binoculars, provided it does not create a visual disturbance for you. Eyesight is not related to age and therefore age is not a something to consider in choosing binoculars.
