Bamboo flooring is usually laminated with special glues to protect it from most kinds of damage. However, this doesn't mean that you do not have to do anything to maintain the beauty of your bamboo floor. Most of the laminates used in the bamboo flooring will react with petroleum-based waxes, so you should avoid using any brand of petroleum-based product. You should instead use water to wipe away simple stains, and non-petroleum-based polishes or cleaners.
Another thing you can do to maintain your bamboo flooring is not to walk on it wearing shoes or boots. Instead, have people remove their shoes when they enter the room.
