When properly cared for, bamboo can grow well in pots. However, the species that can be grown in pots are only the smaller ones that do not grow wild. Since bamboos are naturally invasive, a bigger bamboo species may break the pot when it has reached its maximum growing limit.
If the temperature and atmosphere inside the house is right to grow bamboo, you can easily grow them, provided that your chosen species are those that will not grow higher than your ceiling.
