Does it get cold up in the air in a hot air balloon?

Generally, the temperature does not get colder up in the air than on the ground. You won't feel much breeze either, because the balloon you will be riding will be basically moving at the same speed as the wind. This prevents any wind chill factor. However, if it gets cold, the burner that heats the air for the balloon can also act as a heater.
