A good number of degrees acquired online are viewed as equal to degrees acquired from a regular college. However, some degrees may still be viewed as inferior or sub-standard.
If an online school is run by a traditional college or university, chances are their online degrees are more or less equal to its counterpart degrees in the traditional classroom system. Except for a few changes and adjustments in the curriculum to fit the demands of an online learning setting, your online degree is just as good as the degree in the regular school.
Make sure that the school is registered and accredited by the regional accrediting association. Check also that its degrees are accepted and honored by regular schools and by businesses.
