A paramedic is a person who is trained to provide emergency medical treatment. They are medical professionals that give urgent care to sick and wounded people. Paramedics normally work on ambulance crews.
On the other hand, a physician's assistant is a licensed health care professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a physician. They do physical examinations, detect and treat illnesses, instruct patients, read tests, and help during surgery. They usually work in a doctor's office or clinic.
