A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) has less education than a Registered Nurse (RN), usually two years of nursing school compared to four years for an RN. They usually work in clinics, hospitals and schools, caring for patients and teaching people how to stay healthy. An LPN is usually supervised by an RN.
