You can choose from cover or text stock if you decide to print postcards using a card stock. Text stock much lighter weight than cover stock. Most printing company recommend cover stock rather than text stock.
Most card stock, whether text or cover stock, is coated to augment and safeguard the ink. Three common types of coating are normally used to attain good quality postcard printing: aqueous coating, UV coating, and film lamination.
