Catalogs are commonly used in customizing brochures, flyers or websites. The standard printing size is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", 8-1/2" x 11", or 11" x 17".
The printing size of a booklet depends on the type of booklet you want to make. For instance, if you will be producing coffee table books, then the standard size is 9" x 12". On the other hand, a gift book is normally printed within the size range of 7-1/2" x 9", while a handbook or fiction book size is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2".
A brochure has three separate printing sizes which depend on usage. There is the standard page size of 8-1/2" x 11", legal page size of 8-1/2" x 14" and 11" x 17".
