There is a recommended target heart rate during an aerobic exercise. Ii is an accepted method wherein it can be measured during running, swimming, cycling and other aerobic activities. You need to work out to at least 20 minutes to measure your target cardiac rate. The target heart rate for 40 years old is 126.
