Fulbright Scholarships send about 800 university faculty members and other professionals abroad every year to pursue research in different academic and professional fields.
The Fulbright Scholarship program is sponsored by the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. This is under an agreement with the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES), which assists in the operation of this scholarship program exclusively for faculty and professionals.
