Yes, a full ride scholarship covers housing expenses. There are many opportunities for you besides full ride scholarships, however. There is the Land Grant Opportunity Scholarship which pays housing expenses. Besides receiving the total amount of your tuition, you will receive payments for your housing for the whole duration of your schooling. Moreover, it will also give you money for books, reference materials, and other educational supplies.
For you to qualify, your family income must be less than $40,000 a year, and you must be a member of some type of volunteer service group in your area. You will receive payments monthly that will cover all your expenses during your schooling.
However, you will continuously receive this benefit only if you maintain a grade point average of 3.0 pr higher, and you have to meet all the other standards and requirements of the scholarship.
