There are many kinds of awards that can be given, such as:
• Grants – They are similar to gifts. Usually grants are awards from universities, companies, federal and states according to its monetary needs.
• Scholarships – Usually schools and big universities give these awards to students who have excelled academically.
• Plaques, certificates and trophies– These are given to people who have done outstanding work on their job or at school. Some awards are also given to athletes who have done well in their sport of choice.
• Work–study privileges – Usually given to students who work at a company with open jobs for students.
