There are many good recognition ideas, one of which is having a variation of a Hall of Fame for the best volunteers. Each month there can be an award for the most outstanding volunteer, and his/her name will be placed in the Hall of Volunteers.
In this way, volunteers will be motivated to achieve their potential in order to join the Hall of Fame. Not only is it helping your organization, but it is also helping the volunteer.
