Timeshare fees vary with the type of property you are planning on timesharing, as well as where the property is located. You should also consider the influence the state has on the fees and the taxes they require.
Application fees are usually based on each state's requirements. You should calculate all of them, along with the required fees for the property itself and the taxes on purchasing a timeshare ownership.
Then there are the maintenance fees that are needed to keep the property in tiptop shape; these are shared by the owners of the property. Maintenance is required to keep the the property from losing value.
