You should get the exact measurements of your window using a steel ruler to know the blind size appropriate for your window. The measurements can either be inside or outside mount.
Inside mount or recessed blinds hang inside the window frame for a neater finished look without hiding the wood trim. Measure your windown from inside edge of the molding to the other inside edge, both height and width.
Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening either on, above, or on either side of the wood trim. Measure your window from outside edge to outside edge, both width and height, and buy the blind that fits that size.
