There are different ways to use VoIP, including:
1. Through an Analog Telephone Adaptor or ATA. This enables you to use your landline phone for VoIP. It will convert your landline phone's touchtone analog signal to a digital signal and transmit it over the Internet.
2. Through IP phones. These phones look like traditional touchtone landline phones. The only difference is that instead of a phone jack, they have Ethernet connectors. You can plug them directly to your hub or your router.
3. Through your computer. All you have to do is install VoIP software, a PC mike, and a PC speaker, and you can call anyone with the same software for free or call landline phones for an affordable fee.
