MBA teaching methods vary from one college or university to another. This depends on the curriculum. But generally, MBA teaching methods are divided into lectures, case studies, experimental learning and simulations. Some professors have their own styles and may integrate other MBA teaching methods.
When it comes to the actual classes, some schools allow online and distance learning. Though similar to the kinds of lectures most college students receive, what you receive in an MBA will most likely be more condensed and move through material at a faster pace. MBA students will also need to write more essays and executive summaries as well as do more research projects.
The biggest difference between a Masters and a BA degree is the thesis the Masters student must prepare. For MBA students, this is no different. MBA students are generally asked to either do an MBA thesis or dissertation. It should either be a research paper (or project) on a particular subject or be a culmination of all they have learned.
