Estate planning is very intricate and is subject to ever-changing laws. But generally, estate planning means making your will, putting in writing your decisions on how to divide among your heirs the assets and wealth you have accumulated over your lifetime.
Having good estate planning allows for the transfer of all those assets to your heirs worry-free and with minimal tax deductions. There is a complex process involved, which includes the listing of all your assets and liabilities, establishing a trustee, and making your will.
You need to know the existing laws of your state before you plan your estate. This way, you can have an effective estate plan that can benefit your loved ones greatly.
