The level of moisture depends on the location of the home. Houses on river banks, sea and lake shores, and other places near water will have higher moisture levels than homes in dry areas.
The construction and design of the home also affects the moisture level. Houses made of wood are more susceptible to high moisture levels because wood absorbs moisture. Good or bad ventilation also affects the moisture level, as do lighting, heat sources, and many other factors.
