In most cases, a healthy woman under the age of 30 should not be bothered about infertility unless she has been trying to conceive a child for longer than one year. If she is unable to get pregnant within that period of time, she and her partner should both talk with their physicians about fertility evaluation. In about one-third of infertility cases, the problem lies with the man, so he should not be overlooked in fertility testing.
