Age is one of the factors that affect your eyesight because eyes change as a person ages. The changes actually happen in different ways. The most apparent among these changes occurs when a person reaches the age of 40 to 50. This is the time when most people lose their ability to focus on nearby objects. Medical practitioners call this condition presbyopia, and bifocal or even trifocal eyeglasses become necessary.
If you try to ignore your failing vision and don't get some type of corrective device, you stand the chance of coompletely losing either your near vision or your far vision over time.
