When a company gets to sponsor a NASCAR racing team, they are given a special spot on the race car for the display of their logo, depending on how much they are willing to pay. They are also entitled to place their logo on the driver's and pit crew members' uniforms and transporters, plus the rights to use the driver for their marketing purposes (such as a company endorser on advertisements).
NASCAR sponsors are willing to spend millions of dollars to get these rights and privileges with a NASCAR racing team.
