Mirrors are useful tools for reflecting images. There are different types of mirrors used for different purposes.
A one-way mirror is the standard type of mirror that you see everyday and probably have in your bathroom. It reflects light one way -- back to the viewer -- and allows no light to pass through it.
A two-way mirror is another type of mirror where you can see yourself, but some of the light also passes through the mirror, allowing people on the other side of it to see you as if they were looking through a window, while you cannot see them because you can only see your own reflection if you look into the glass. These types of mirrors are often used in places like stores for surveillance purposes.
