Mirror glue is effective for tacking mirrors to a wall, giving protection from the mirror falling accidentally due to sudden vibration.
However, there are some side effects of using this particular adhesive. The glues are extremely strong and shrink slightly during curing. Bits of glasses can be scratched from the back of the mirror and the original position you desired can be altered. It is therefore advisable to use a mechanical procedure for mounting mirrors.
