Much less maintenance required.
Affordable.
Manually operated awning - Cons:
Physical effort required to open.
Can be ruined by heavy rain.
Motorized awning - Pros:
Easier to open.
User friendly.
Motorized awning - Cons:
More expensive.
Can be hard to open if mechanism gets rusted.
